Report: Amerks have new head coach
According to a report in the Buffalo News, the Buffalo Sabres have hired a new head coach for the Rochester Amerks. Lance Lysowski’s report says the Sabres have chosen Seth Appert to run things in Rochester. Buffalo GM Kevyn Adams, after firing popular head coach Chris Taylor, said he wanted to go for more development in Rochester and Appert fits that description
Appert’s last job was as the head coach of the USA National Development team. Previous to that he was the head coach at RPI University. The Amerks season is not scheduled to begin until December.
