Police searching for suspects in carjacking near Clifford Avenue
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police are searching for suspects in a carjacking that happened near Clifford Avenue.
Police say just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, they responded to a call for an armed robbery on the 100 block of Spiegel Park and found a 59-year-old man from Rochester whose car was taken at knifepoint by passengers he was transporting. Police say the driver was not working for a ride-sharing company.
The man’s Dodge Caravan later hit a parked car and the suspects fled, according to police.
Police say they have recovered the car near Bay Street and First Street, but are still looking for the suspects.
