Police investigating homicide on Peckham Street
Rochester, New York – The Rochester Police Department is investigating an overnight homicide on Peckham Street.
Shortly after midnight police responded to the area of Peckham Street for the report of a man not conscious or breathing.
When they arrived at the scene, police found a man in his 20s outside suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, the preliminary investigation revealed the man was involved in some type of altercation prior to the shooting.
So far, no arrests have been made.
Police ask anyone with information to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 423-9300.
