One person displaced after garage fire in Perinton

Perinton, New York – On Friday evening, garage fire on Raymond Road in Perinton has left one resident displaced.
According to officials, the occupant of the house saw smoke in the garage and called 911.
Upon arrival at the scene, fire departments located the garage on fire which extended slightly into the home.
The house was deemed unlivable, and the owner has been put in temporary housing until repairs are made.
An investigation about the cause of the fire is ongoing.
