Officer killed, another hurt after vehicle rams into barricade at U.S. Capitol
Capitol Police officer was killed Friday after a vehicle rammed into two officers at a barricade outside the U.S. Capitol.
Afterward, the suspect emerged from the vehicle wielding a weapon.
The suspect ultimately died at the hospital. One of the officers who was struck by the vehicle also died from his injuries.
Officials have not identified those involved in the incident yet. However, they noted there is no active threat at the Capitol at this point.
