Morning gunfire in Rochester, one woman sent to hospital
Rochester, New York – On Sunday, at about 3 a.m, officers responded to the 100 block of Burley Rd. for the report of a person shot, Rochester Police reported.
When they arrived at the scene, they located a 61-year-old female, a city resident, with at least one gunshot wound to the upper body.
The injured woman was taken to Strong Hospital via ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
According to police, no arrests have been made at the time of the report.
The investigation is ongoing.
