More COVID tests for Wayne County residents
Wayne County, New York — On Saturday Wayne County will host its second COVID home test kit distribution.
At the event, proof of Wayne County residency is required. Each registered household will receive two testing kits, (each kit contains two tests), and masks also
Through an inter-municipal agreement with Ontario County, Wayne County previously purchased 25,000 test kits. 10,000 of them will be given out Saturday.
Residents can pick them up between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at Walworth Town Hall, 3600 Lorraine Drive, Macedon (enter from Walworth-Marion Rd – Route 441) and at Finger Lakes Community College Newark Campus, 1100 Technology Parkway, Newark (enter from Silver Hill Road).
Pre-registration is required.
Registration will stay open until noon Friday, Feb. 11 or until all openings are filled.
