Man Wanted In 2019 Wallkill Slaying Arrested: Police

WALLKILL, NY — The man accused of killing another man outside a sports bar in 2019 has been arrested.
The New York State Police announced Thursday Jamaad Mikal Murphy, 27, of Middletown, had been charged with second-degree murder, a felony.
He was indicted Dec. 17, 2019, by an Orange County grand jury for second-degree murder related to the 2019 killing of Matthew Napoleoni outside of the Made in Puerto Rico Latin Cuisine and Sports Bar in the town of Wallkill.
Napoleoni was shot and killed around 2:30 a.m. Nov. 3, 2019, at the sports bar located on Schutt Road.
After a 14-month manhunt, state police and the FBI Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force located Murphy in a home in the town of Ramapo.
He was remanded to the Orange County Jail without bail.
