Man injured in shooting on East Main Street
Rochester, New York – On Tuesday around 11:30 p.m. a man was shot in downtown Rochester.
According to Rochester Police, they received the report of a person shot near the 100 block of East Main Street in the city.
When the police arrived at the scene they found a 55-year-old man who had been shot at least once in the upper body while standing on the sidewalk.
A man was transported to Strong Hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing. Police ask anyone with information to contact 911.
