Lilac Fest announces its return for 2022 last year

Rochester, New York – Rochester’s popular spring event, the Lilac Fest announced its return for 2022 last year.
Organizers announced some new events and the return of some long-time favorites that will spread across the weekends of May 6-8, May 12-15, and May 19-22.
On Monday organizers announced, a Health and Wellness Experience presented by Evans Bank that will feature fitness classes sponsored by eight local fitness organizations.
A favorite that’s coming back includes the Lilac Parade on May 7, which returns after a two-year hiatus and will feature 20 marching bands, dancers, costumed characters, and the popular Damascus mini cars.
More events returning include Art in the Park, Kids Zone, the Craft Beer, and Wine Tasting Expos, the Recipe 21 High Spot Party, and of course The Lilac Run 5K, 10K, and Donut Dash.
Final COVID-19 guidelines will be updated before the festival kicks off on www.rochesterevents.com.
