Large gathering on Monroe Ave
Rochester, New Rochester — Saturday morning Rochester police shut down a portion of Monroe Avenue, due to a large gathering between Meigs and Goodman Streets.
According to Rochester police, the crowd was reported to be between 200 to 300 people.
Police arrested one person for disorderly conduct while they tried to contain the crowd.
The streets were shut down between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. and have since been reopened.
