If the third, booster shot of the vaccines doesn’t work, next thing is quarantine, a full lockdown and it might come much sooner than expected

The third, booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccines is slowly becoming a reality since multiple states already adopted the CDC recommendation that immunocompromised people can get a third COVD-19 vaccine dose. No one will actually be surprised if the recommendation for the third, booster shot become a season shot.

The glory days with low Covid-19 numbers are behind us since almost every state is seeing an increase in cases in the past few weeks regardless of the vaccination rate. Vaccines, that were proved to work in more of the 90% of the cases, seem to have much lower efficacy rate to the Delta variant, despite the fact that they still prevent severe condition and hospitalization in more of 90% of the cases.

People are reasonably fear new restrictions, mask mandates and vaccine requirements as the Delta variant spreads and the number of new cases is on the rise for several weeks now. What sets the alarm off is the fact that even in areas where masks and vaccines are required, the numbers are growing.

Even if a third shot is working, it will take time to see the results and by then, it might already late. President Joe Biden and the White House administration know that and meanwhile, they have to do whatever they have in their power to protect the public safety. And they will literally do whatever they can, no question asked.

But what people and businesses fear the most is of course the most unpopular pandemic measure, the lockdown. In multiple occasions Biden said that new lockdown is not an option urging everyone to get vaccinated, but CDC Director Rochelle Walensky never really fully excluded this option. And yes, Biden is known to fully acquire and do what Walensky and Fauci tell him to.

Whether on purpose or not, just a few weeks ago Biden in one occasion hinted that new lockdown might be coming, although he didn’t say it directly. When Biden was asked whether Americans should expect more Covid-19 restrictions and he, almost nonchalant, answered “In all probability.”

The fiery discussion over the lockdown continued after Jack Posobiec, political activist and TV presenter, said on Twitter that “White House chatter is that lockdowns for delta variant all but a done deal.” According to him, the first lockdowns will be announced in the second week of August.

It’s not whether a new lockdown will come the second or third or fourth week in August or any other month, the lockdown is proven to be the best measure when it comes to fighting the daily cases, but if affects many other aspects of people’s life, from mental health to each individual to struggling businesses.

Biden rating was pretty decent up until one month ago. Although he was not doing well with the major problems our country faces like the inflation, the migration at the southern border and the surge in violent crimes, he managed to keep good rating numbers when it comes how he was handling the pandemic.

It’s pretty easy to conclude that Biden did actually nothing to deserve those number. His rating was decent because he decided to fully open the country just before the summer while the cases were low. People were simply happy after more than a year of pandemic measures and lockdowns.

With the latest surge in numbers since a month ago, Biden’s only “decent rating” almost halved. Biden is not performing good to any major issue currently and he and his team know this. But they don’t really know how the handle the current situation just when both political parties are starting to prepare for the 2022-midterms and should be working on their rating.

The latest Afghanistan fiasco was nothing but another desperate mistake from the Biden admin. Not a single president had made so many bad moves in such a short period of time. Biden’s rating dropped for full 7 points in a matter of days with the Afghanistan troops withdrawal and the escalation of the situation there. Now Biden doesn’t have what to lose.

The vaccines are not working, or at least not as good as everyone expected, mask requirement in some states is not giving the wanted results, the booster dose of the vaccines will take time until we see the results… All in all, if something drastically doesn’t change in the very soon upcoming period, lockdown seems to be a done deal!
