Rochester, New York – The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce has proudly announced the honorees for its 2025 MWBE Awards, celebrating the fastest-growing minority- and women-owned business enterprises in the region. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Floreano Convention Center on June 18, 2025, where the businesses will be honored in a special event showcasing their achievements.

This year’s list includes a diverse array of companies from various sectors, all headquartered in the Greater Rochester area. Each has shown remarkable growth and resilience, contributing significantly to the local economy. Notably, the honorees have a combined annual revenue surpassing $400 million and employ thousands across the region. Some of the businesses being recognized include AAC Contracting LLC, All New York Process Servers Inc., AP Safety and Security Corp, and many others ranging from tech firms like Indotronix Avani Inc. to creative agencies such as Dixon Schwabl + Company.

Bob Duffy, President & CEO of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, expressed his admiration for the winners.

“Our 2025 MWBE Award honorees are a diverse and outstanding group of organizations, representing industries and sectors throughout our regional economy. The CEOs who run these companies have overcome systemic challenges and broken down barriers to earn the success they have, and we are excited to celebrate their collective impact and individual stories alike,” said Duffy.

To qualify for the MWBE Awards, businesses must meet several criteria. They must prove that at least 51% of the ownership, operation, and control is held by minorities and/or women. Additionally, these companies must be privately owned, based within the nine-county Greater Rochester/Finger Lakes area, and have reached a minimum annual revenue of $250,000 in each of the past three fiscal years.

The Chamber, in collaboration with Monroe County, COMIDA, and the MCIDC, not only recognizes these fast-growing businesses but also offers a spotlight for the 2024 locally certified MWBEs. The event promises to be an empowering celebration of the unique contributions and business acumen of these enterprises.

Community members, stakeholders, and anyone interested in supporting local businesses are encouraged to attend the event. It will be a fantastic opportunity to network, celebrate local success stories, and perhaps even gain insights into achieving similar growth and success in their enterprises. Registration and various sponsorship opportunities are currently available, with further details provided by Susan George, the Chamber’s Director of Events, Training, & Affiliates.

As the Greater Rochester area continues to thrive and diversify, the MWBE Awards highlight the integral role that minority and women entrepreneurs play in fostering a dynamic business community. This event is not just a celebration of achievements but a reaffirmation of the Chamber’s commitment to inclusivity and support for all sectors of business in the region.
