Flooding hits region after heavy rain

Monroe County, New York — Roads all over the region are flooded following heavy rain that fell Tuesday evening.
Flood warnings have been issued from the National Weather Service for Livingston, Ontario, and Monroe Counties and will stay in effect until 8:00 Wednesday morning.
Tuesday night, the Rochester area recorded roughly 1.8″ of rain, an all-time record for Oct. 26.
A flood warning has also been issued for the Irondequoit Creek until 6:00 Wednesday night.
As a Nor’easter off the New England coast brings in the rain and gusty winds, 45 million Americans are under alerts for isolated flooding.
