Elmira School District forced to modify its school schedule due to school bus drivers shortage
Elmira, New York – Due to being down 16 bus drivers, Elmira School District was forced to modify their schedule Friday.
The modification was only for Friday, Oct. 8.
According to the modification, elementary schools will be released early and secondary schools began on a one-hour delay.
This morning Broadway Academy 9th grade, Ernie Davis Academy 7-8th grade, and Elmira High School 10th-12th grade were all on a one-hour delay.
Primary schools Diven, Fassett, Pine City, and Riverside will all be released early like on Wednesdays at 1:45 p.m.
Intermediate schools Beecher, Broadway, Hendy, and Parley Coburn will all be released at 1:25 p.m.
