Early morning shooting in Rochester
Rochester, New York – At approximately 1:15 a.m. Saturday, while patrolling the area of East Avenue and Alexander Street, Rochester Police reported hearing multiple gunshots being fired.
According to police, they responded to 315 Alexander Street, where it was reported that there had been a fight in front of a bar.
The fight had escalated into an exchange of gunfire, but no persons were reported being struck, police said.
An investigation is ongoing. Police ask anyone who has any information regarding the incident to call 911.
