Cuomo’s lawyer attacks credibility of some of his accusers
Rita Glavin, Andrew Cuomo’s lawyer, made a detailed slide show on Friday about the 11 women who accused Cuomo of sexual harassment.
At first Glavin talked about Virginia Limmiatis, who said Cuomo groped her chest.
According to Glavin’s photo evidence of the event Limmiatis said it happened, the accusation did not happen. Limmiatis is involved in the state attorney general’s investigation.
Further Glavin talked about Charlotte Bennett, one of Cuomo’s former aides, who said Cuomo groomed her, and said they would release evidence to the attorney general’s office that calls her credibility into question.
Glavin attacked the credibility of the other women including Lindsey Boylan and Brittany Commisso.
Governor Cuomo announced his resignation following the release of the Attorney General’s report that substantiated the claims made against him by the 11 women.
Glavin said she will request the Attorney General fix errors she believes exists in the report and is asked to review evidence used to write the report.
