Canandaigua, Victor, AQ and Irondequoit among Section V hockey and hoops winners Saturday
It was a victorious day on both the ice and the court for Canandaigua today as the ice hockey team beat Aquinas Institute, 5-4, for the second time this season, and the girls basketball team won by a large margin on the road at Greece Arcadia. Victor boys basketball pulled away in the final quarter and a half today from what was a back-and-forth battle for a majority of the game to beat Rush-Henrietta on the road by sixteen points. Like the Canandaigua girls basketball team this afternoon, Irondequoit girls basketball and Aquinas Institute boys basketball each grabbed victories by tens of points in this Saturday Section V slate.
