Buffalo fires entire Amerks coaching staff

After the Pegulas surprisingly fired General Manager Jason Botterill, the team owners didn’t stop there.
On Tuesday night, the Buffalo franchise announced they had relieved Rochester’s coaching staff of their duties, including Head Coach Chris Taylor.
In addition to Taylor’s firing, the Sabres let go assistant coaches Gord Dineen and Toby Petersen as well as assistant General Manager Randy Sexton.
It’s a stunning move after the success Taylor and his staff had built in Rochester.
Taylor helped lead the Amerks to back to back playoff appearances in the last two years, after he was named head coach in 2017.
