Batavia schools reopen after closure over threats

Batavia, New York – After classes were canceled Friday because of threats made over social media, Batavia schools are back open Monday.
According to Batavia Police, they’ve found no evidence of a credible threat.
As a precaution, officers will be posted at schools buildings this week.
According to officers, they’re working with the FBI and Secret Service to continue monitoring social media for any issues.
Due to similar threats, two other school districts in Western New York went virtual for a day.
