A 46-year-old non-city resident injured during early morning car theft in Rochester
Rochester, New York – Following a report of a male lying in the roadway, Rochester Police responded to the intersection of Parkway and Bloss Street at approximately 3 a.m. on Sunday.
Upon arrival at the scene, police reported that the victim was sitting in his vehicle on Parkway when his vehicle was stolen at gunpoint.
According to the report, the 46-year-old non-city resident did suffer non-life-threatening injuries during the incident, but he was not shot.
The victim was taken to the University of Rochester Medical Center via American Medical Response ambulance, where he was treated for those injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call 911.
