A 46-year-old man stabbed on Portland Avenue in Rochester
Rochester, New York — On Thursday, a man was taken to the hospital after a stabbing on Portland Avenue at Bay Street.
Officers responded to a call and arrived in a corner store in the area around 3:20 p.m. According to investigators a 46-year-old man from Rochester was found there with stabbing wounds, but it is believed that he is not stabbed inside the corner store.
According to police, the man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
