Pittsford hosts its second Pride Parade
Pittsford, New York – On Sunday, Pittsford held a pride celebration.
Before people walked to Port of Pittsford Park, sporting their rainbow colors and pride, the celebration kicked off at the Spiegel Community Center.
Once at the park, families celebrated LGBTQ+ members by enjoying music, playing games, and watching performances by drag queens.
“Many of us have children that identify as LGBTQ, and our kids need love,” said Victoria, an attendee at the parade. “They need support, they need activists that uplift them, that support them – and that’s why I’m here.”
This was Pittsford’s second pride celebration.
