Robbery and assault on Parkway, Rochester Police investigating
Rochester, New York – A robbery and assault took place late Wednesday night in Rochester.
According to police, around 11:00 p.m., they responded to the area of Parkway for the report of an assault.
Upon arrival at the scene, they found a 30-year-old male and a 31-year-old female, both victims of robbery and assault.
According to police, the victims were robbed of personal property and struck with a blunt object they believed was a firearm; however neither victim was shot.
Both victims were taken to Strong Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, no suspects are in custody.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 423-9300. An investigation is ongoing.
