14-year-old boy shot Saturday night in Rochester
Rochester, New York – On Saturday night, a 14-year-old boy was shot on the city’s north side.
According to police, the boy was shot at least once in the lower body around 9 p.m. in the area of Woodward and McFarlin streets.
Upon arrival at Ontario Street, officers learned the boy had been taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by private vehicle.
The boy is expected to recover.
At this time, no suspects are in custody.
An investigation is ongoing.
