Rochester, New York — According to The Rochester Police Department, a home was hit by gunfire Saturday morning after an altercation in a parking lot outside a nearby New Year’s Eve party led to shots being fired.

After investigating, they found an altercation had occurred in a parking lot outside the party and a series of gunshots followed, police said.

According to police, no one was hit by the gunfire, but a nearby home with residents inside (not related to the New Year’s Eve party) was hit by gunfire and a bullet went through the living room area causing damage.
