New York – Governor Kathy Hochul attempts to create renewable energies in the state.
Hochul is planning to expand the energy grid and produce 10 gigawatts of solar energy by 2030.
The shift will create 6,000 new jobs within the industry and work toward the zero-emission goal for New York.
This was announced during the climate week at the United Nations in New York City, where countries from all over the world gathered to discuss climate change.
