Gunfire after an overnight car crahs at South Goodman
Rochester, New York – According to police, an overnight car crash at South Goodman St. and Pearl St. was preceded by sooting in the area.
When the police arrived on the scene, they found that the driver of the flipped vehicle had already gotten out safely.
According to police, no one else was hurt in the crash.
Later the car that likely caused the crash was towed from the scene. It had bullet holes in it, but police haven’t determined when that car was hit by the bullets.
“I was leaving McDonald’s and I guess two cars were having a shootout,” said Daiquan, the driver of the flipped vehicle.
“And one flew past me going straight, the other one tailgated me and my car started flipping but at the time I didn’t know they were shooting at each other,” Daiquan said. “They kept telling me that I’m lucky to be alive, they said that either I’m supposed to be dead from a bullet or I’m supposed to be dead from this accident.”
Police announced that Goodman St. has re-opened to traffic.
