Man in his 20s hospitalized after shooting on Saratoga Avenue
Rochester, New York – A male individual in his twenties has been taken to the hospital after being shot, as reported by the Rochester Police Department on Wednesday.
The incident occurred on Saratoga Avenue and officers were notified of the shooting at approximately 12:30 p.m.
Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials found the victim with a gunshot wound to his lower body.
The man was subsequently transported to a medical facility for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Early investigations suggest that the shooting happened inside a residence located on the same street.
Authorities are urging individuals who have any information about the incident to contact emergency services through 911.
