Rochester, New York – This Thursday, the city of Rochester is holding its final public input session for the Housing Quality Task Force recommendations.

Nearly two months ago, the task force delivered a report to Mayor Malik Evans, which outlined 16 recommendations across a range of topics to improve housing in the city.

The recommendations included supporting home ownership through the city’s land bank, foreclosures, and repair and improvement programs.

On Thursday, the feedback collected will be compiled into a new report that will be presented to Rochester City Council, as well as state and federal delegations.

The session is taking place at the Arnett Branch Library from 5 – 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Those unable to attend can fill out a survey on the recommendations online.
