Orchard Park, New York – Following the announcement of a vaccine mandate more than 700 season tickets for the Buffalo Bills have been returned by fans.
762 season ticket holders requested a prorated refund by Friday’s deadline, according to a Bills spokesperson. In doing so, they will lose their seniority and seat.
Erie County and Pegula Sports and Entertainment on Tuesday announced a vaccine mandate for all events at Highmark Stadium and Key Bank Center including all Bills and Buffalo Sabres games.
By Sunday’s home game fans, 12 and over must have proof of at least one vaccine and must be fully vaccinated by October 31.
Those under the age of 12 must wear a mask all the time.
Until Tuesday at 5 p.m. Sabres season ticket holders have to request a refund for their tickets.
