66 new COVID-19 cases reported in Monroe County
Monroe County, New York – On Friday, June 4, 2021, the Monroe County Department of Health has confirmed 1,303 COVID-19 related deaths and 66,976 positive coronavirus tests in the county from the begging of the pandemic.
The number of new coronavirus cases confirmed is 60. More than half of the new cases are in patients under 30.
The seven-day rolling average positivity rate, based on combined Antigen and PCR test results (New York State guidelines), is 1.5% as of Friday. The seven-day rolling average positivity rate based solely on PCR tests is 3.77% as of Monday. The seven-day rolling average of new cases is 55 per day.
121 people were hospitalized in the Finger Lakes region as of Thursday, 31 of whom were in the ICU.
In Monroe County, 57.5% of the population has received at least one dose of the vaccine – 427,018 people; 377,229 people have completed the vaccine series.
