177 new COVID positive tests reported in Monroe County
Albany, New York — According to the NY State Health Department’s COVID data :
3.01% were positive of the 145,813 COVID tests reported Friday.
1,121 New York residents are hospitalized with coronavirus.
The governor report the deaths of 11 COVID patients.
More people in New York state are getting vaccinated.
76.3% of adults in the state have received at least one vaccine dose, and 69.1% have completed their vaccine series per the CDC.
In the past 24 hours, nearly 50,000 doses were administered bringing the total to 22,548,493 doses administered to date.
The NY State Health Department’s COVID-19 Tracker shows Monroe County with 177 new positive tests on Saturday which equates to 3.3% of tests in the county.
In the Finger Lakes area, here are the current COVID-19 positive test rates for Saturday, according to the state COVID-19 tracker data:

- Orleans 3.8%
- Genesee 3.5%
- Monroe 3.3%
- Ontario 2.9%
- Wayne 2.9%
- Seneca 2.9%
- Livingston 2.6%
- Yates 2.4%
