15-year-old boy critical after shooting in Rochester’s Beechwood neighborhood
Rochester, New York – A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition, after a shooting in Rochester’s Beechwood neighborhood.
According to police, late Sunday morning the teenager was hit by gunfire in the 300 block of Hazelwood Terrace shortly before noon.
The boy was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
At this time his name has still not been released.
During the investigation, roads in the area were shut down for a time, but have since reopened.
So far, there are no arrests, and the shooting remains under investigation.
