1 man is dead after shooting on the southwest side near Jefferson Avenue
Rochester, New York — Wednesday afternoon there was a fatal shooting on the southwest side near Jefferson Avenue and Bartlett Street.
According to Rochester police officials, officers responded to the area of Jefferson Avenue and Bartlett Street around 12:45 p.m. after multiple gunshots were heard.
When they arrived on scene, officers found a dead man in his 30s with a gunshot to the upper body.
The investigation is ongoing.
According to police, there are currently no suspects in custody.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to all 911.
