$375,000 grant for homeless students from Rochester schools
Rochester, New York – According to the State Education Department, a new initiative will help homeless students.
More than $7 million is going to 27 school districts across the state.
The Rochester City School District will get $750,000 over three years, here in our region.
Greece, North Rose, Wolcott, and Sodus schools will get $375,000.
According to the State Education Department, the grants are based on the number of students in temporary housing.
