Senate approves legislation renaming a post office for a fallen soldier.

Honeoye Falls, New York — The United States Senate has approved the legislation renaming the Honeoye Falls post office the Christian J. Koch Memorial Post Office.
The document will now go to President Biden’s desk for his final approving signature.
Christian, who served in both the U.S. Army and the New York State Police, died in a helicopter crash in Mendon in January 2021 while on a National Guard training operation.
“Christian Koch was an American hero, husband, father, and friend, said New York State Congressman Chris Jacobs. “Christian made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation – I am humbled by his service in defense of our freedom.”
Koch left behind his wife and their four kids.
