Police: Shooting at West Ridge Plaza; gas poured on neighbor

Rochester, N.Y. – A man and woman are recovering from injuries on Monday after a fight in a parking lot earlier that morning.
Police say the woman had gasoline and motor oil poured on her.
Shortly after 1 a.m. Greece Police responded to Unity Hospital to the call of male suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say they learned shortly after that the male was shot in the West Ridge Road Plaza parking lot, at 630 West Ridge Road.
According to police, a large gathering of people in that parking lot led to a fight. A 22-year-old male sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to his lower body.
While this scene was being checked out by police, they say a woman approached them who was covered in motor oil and gasoline. Police believe this woman had earlier confronted the group in the plaza to complain about the noise.
During that encounter, police say she filmed the group and was assaulted and had the oil poured on her. She was treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.
We have been following instances in the area where business owners have become increasingly upset with the common parties and gatherings thrown in that same parking lot.
