Patient at RGH pull fire alarm when there was no fire

Rochester, New York – On Monday, the Rochester Arson Task Force arrested a patient at Rochester General Hospital for pulling the fire alarm at the emergency department when there was no fire.
According to the task force, the woman was on parole for arson and released from jail three months ago.
She is now charged with false reporting.
The Rochester Fire Department rushed to the hospital and discovered that there was no fire threat after the alarm went off.
Investigators determined that a patient pulled the alarm maliciously and took the suspect into custody.
The woman is in Monroe County Jail awaiting her arraignment.
