Free COVID testing available in Rochester
Rochester, New York — This week free COVID testing will be available in Rochester.
Through Thursday, Untrapped Ministries is holding it at Rochester Family Mission.
The goal is to provide a PCR test or rapid at-home test for those in underserved communities.
“We have to empower communities of color to be able to respond to this pandemic that we’re in,” CEO Justin Morris said. “If we don’t do that, then we’re yet again at a disadvantage and we want our people to be empowered as it relates to this pandemic.”
The clinic on Tremont Street will be open two more days Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk-ins are also welcome.
