Child getting struck by lawn mower in Yates County

Yates County, New York — A child is being struck and injured by a lawn mower.
According to a first responders report, on October 29, a child suffered severe injuries after their mother accidentally hit them with a lawn mower at Keuka Park.
The child had to be transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by helicopter, because of the injuries to the legs and arms.
A 28-year-old, Rhonda Zimmerman was operating the lawn mower when she accidentally backed over her 15-month-old child.
At this time, the Sheriff’s Office investigation is ongoing.v
