AAA advises parents to discuss teen driver safety with them

Rochester, New York – Anyone operating a vehicle has safety as a key priority.
With regard to teen drivers, it is much more crucial.
According to AAA, more than 60% of teenagers receive their licenses before they turn 18; young drivers can benefit from expert instruction and safety courses, particularly those that emphasize the importance of staying alert to your surroundings and other drivers.
“Just like playing sports, the coach tells you gotta be XYZ on the field,” said Richard Hyman, driving instructor with AAA. “Driving down the road you have to be looking everywhere because you don’t know whose going to come from where.”
It’s never too early for parents to discuss safety with their teenagers, according to AAA.
